Meet Us Monday: Mrs. Yee-Peng Tang Royster

As we count down to the 2022-2023 school year, our Meet Us Monday Blog series returns to introduce you to the outstanding new teachers joining our ILS faculty this year.

Mrs. Yee-Peng Tang Royster will be our Kindergarten Assistant Teacher. Mrs. Royster has been a part of our Immanuel community for many years as a parent to two ILS current ILS students and one ILS graduate (Class of 2022), and we are delighted to have her join the faculty this year!

    Kindergarten Assistant Teacher

  2. What are you most looking forward to about working at ILS?
    Kindergarteners are lively, enthusiastic, and curious… and their excitement is contagious! I am very much looking forward to assisting in any way I can to develop these precious young minds and hearts in truth through a rich classical liberal arts curriculum.

  3. What book are you currently reading?
    I am currently reading The BFG by Roald Dahl with my daughter. I highly recommend reading this whoopsy whiffling book out loud!

  4. What was your favorite thing you did this summer?
    Reconnecting with my family and friends in Malaysia.

  5. What is one place you would like to visit but have not yet been?
    Australia

  6. What was your favorite subject/class when you were in school?
    Physics

  7. What was your favorite book as a child?
    My favorite books as a child were a series of adventure books by a British author.

  8. What is your favorite scripture verse?
    Deuteronomy 31:8 – “It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”
