Weekly Chapel Services
We warmly invite parents, siblings, grandparents, and friends to join us for our weekly Chapel service. Chapel will typically be held at 8:45 on Wednesday mornings, but please check the ILS newsletters or calendars for any changes to the schedule.
Chapel Offerings
Students receive offering envelopes at the beginning of the year. A voluntary offering will be collected at weekly Chapel services throughout the year.
The offerings will be distributed to former ILS Upper School Teachers, Mr. Aaron Schultz and Mr. Shawn Barnett, to support them and their families as they pursue studies at Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne.
Mr. Aaron Schultz, Seminary Student
After 5 years teaching at Immanuel, Mr. Aaron Schultz and his family moved to Ft. Wayne, Indiana, where Mr. Schultz is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity at Concordia Theological Seminary in preparation for ordination in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
Becoming a pastor is something that had been on Mr. Schultz’s heart and mind for more than a decade. After visiting CTS, he felt confident it is the Lord’s will to pursue this vocation.
Please join us in praying for Mr. & Mrs. Schultz, along with their children, Canon, Ben, Sam, and Gus.
Mr. Shawn Barnett, Seminary Student
Mr. Shawn Barnett served at ILS as an Upper School Latin, History, and theology teacher. He moved with his family to Fort Wayne this past summer to continue his studies at Concordia Theological Seminary.
Please join us in praying for Mr. & Mrs. Barnett, along with their children, John Ambrose and Elise Adair.
