At Immanuel’s summer camps, kids will engage in “active leisure”, enjoying work, play, and hands-on projects that will challenge them to grow in mind, body, and virtue, all in a supportive Christian environment.

Camp Information
All camps will be hosted at Immanuel, using a combination of the School and church facilities.
Unless otherwise noted, camps run from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Aftercare is available for an additional fee.
All camps will include breaks for snacks, lunch, and outdoor play. Students should pack their own food.
Earlybird rates for ILS hosted camps will run through December.
Prior to start of camps, liability forms will be distributed to registrants and must be filled out prior to attending camp.

2026 Summer Camps

Drawing & Painting | June 15-19, 2026
Instructor: Miss Camp (ILS Art & Science Teacher)
For Grades 4 - 8 | 9:00am - 4:00pm | $450 (Early Bird $400)
Spend the week drawing, painting, and crafting in various visual mediums. Each day, students will experience a mix of direct instruction, study of great works of art, and hands on practice creating their own pieces! All art supplies will be provided for students, and they will come home with new work each day.

Full STEAM Ahead | June 22-26, 2026
Instructor: Mrs. Angela Pautz (Retired AP Chemistry Teacher and AP Grader)
For Grades 3-5 | 9:00am-4:00pm | $450 (Early Bird $400)After almost 20 years experience classically homeschooling, teaching middle and high school science, and leading a high school science department, Mrs. Pautz is excited to bring her STEAM experience to ILS.
Each day, campers will focus on a different letter of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math). They will engage in hands-on experiments, creative art projects, scientific communication and teamwork. They will put to use what they have learned each day to build a Rube Goldberg Machine®!On Friday, families are invited to a showcase at 4:00pm where students will test their machine and explain the STEAM principles behind it.

Stringtime | July 13-17 & July 20-24, 2026
An ILS partnership with Stringtime
For Ages 7-12 | 9:00am - 4:45pm | $625 (Early Bird $525)
We are excited to welcome Stringtime back to our campus! Their program is great for students who want to try violin, viola, or cello, but their camp model includes individual lesson time tailored to students of any experience level. Each day, students will participate in individual lessons, ensemble work, classroom sessions in music theory & history, games, and faculty performances.
Each week concludes with a Friday concert, which runs from 5:00pm to 6:00pm.

Scenes from Narnia | July 27-31, 2026
An ILS partnership with Encore: Stage & Studio
For Ages 9-12 | 10:00am - 4:00pm | $470
Extended care: 8:30 am - 10:00 am ($100), 4:00 - 5:30 pm ($100)
Step through the wardrobe and into the magical world of Narnia! In this adventurous acting camp, students will bring iconic scenes from The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe to life while learning the fundamentals of scene work and stage combat in a safe environment. Young actors will explore character, storytelling, and ensemble skills as they portray brave heroes, mythical creatures, and chilliest of villains. Camp concludes with a ‘Final Share’ for family on the last day of camp.
Extended care is available for an additional fee.

It's Elementary: Knights, Crowns, & Dragon Tales | August 3-7, 2026
An ILS partnership with Encore: Stage & Studio
For Ages 5-9 | 10:00am - 4:00pm | $495
Campers enter a make-believe realm where crowns are crafted, castles are built, dragons are trained and original tales are told and performed. Each day mixes movement, puppet and prop-making, group story-building, and short ensemble performances so children practice imaginative play while building confidence, cooperation, and storytelling skills. Camp concludes with a Final Share for family on the last day of camp.
Extended care is available for an additional fee.

Ballet (Half Day) | August 10-14, 2026
Instructor: Miss Leithart (ILS Kindergarten Teacher & Professional Dancer)
For Grades 1-4 | 1:00pm-4:00pm | $250 (Earlybird $200)
Miss Abby Leithart looks forward to working with our young campers (rising 1st-4th grade) and sharing her passion for dance. Campers will be introduced to basic ballet techniques, including plies, degagés, passes, téndus and many others across the floor techniques. Along with the development of new skills, students will be enriched with ballet centered stories, performances, and history during break and snack periods while also acquiring new ballet terms.Students will present their new skills in a recital on the last Friday of camp in the afternoon at 4:00pm with a short reception following.
Combine with Mrs. Elliott’s Choir Camp for a full day! (12:00pm-1:00pm will be a staffed lunch hour & recess for the kids.) -

Choral Music (Half Day) | August 10-14, 2026
Instructor: Mrs. Elliott (ILS Music Teacher)
For Grades 1-4 | 9:00am-12:00pm | $250 ($200 Early Bird)
Mrs. Elliott is excited to offer this vocal music camp. Students will focus primarily on vocal repertoire, though some additional instruments will be introduced and possibly incorporated into a culminating performance at the end of the week! The camp day will involve instruction, rehearsal, various musical games, a snack and brief recess, and creative projects.
Combine with Miss Leithart’s Ballet Camp for a full day! (12:00pm-1:00pm will be a staffed lunch hour & recess for the kids.)

Space & Rocketry | August 17-21, 2026
Instructors: Mr. Whearty (ILS Math) & Mr. Lewis (ILS Parent)
For Grades 5-8 | 9:00am-4:00pm | $450 (Early Bird $400)
Join our Rocket-Scientist-In-Residence Mr. Whearty for a week of space exploration and hands on projects. Each day, students will learn about different physical properties essential to rocketry, including a crash course in Newtonian physics, projectile motion, and the chemistry behind rocket fuel.
