A native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Amy Fleming attended Our Savior Lutheran School and West Michigan Lutheran High School. Miss Fleming received a B.S. in Chemistry with honors in Chemistry and a minor in Classical Education from Hillsdale College. While at Hillsdale, she was heavily involved on campus in a variety of ways, such as the Lamplighters, ACS, and Iota Sigma Pi. She also helped to create the Hillsdale College Lutheran Society, which still meets on campus every week night.
Miss Fleming completed a semester apprenticeship at Immanuel Lutheran School (Alexandria) in 2013 and is the current Kindergarten teacher. She has twice attended the annual conference for The Consortium for Classical and Lutheran Education and is a member of the American Chemical Society.
The daughter of a Lutheran Pastor and a Lutheran Educator, Miss Fleming has a sincere passion for life. She enjoys getting to know people, trying new things, and traveling to places she has not yet explored. She loves singing, theology, Shakespeare, skateboarding, and the occasional artistic endeavor.
